The highest thought

"The Highest Thought is always that thought which contains joy. The Clearest Words are those words which contain truth. The Grandest Feeling is that feeling which you call love. Joy, truth, love. These three are interchangeable, and one always leads to the other. It matters not in which order they are placed."

"It has been said that if you don’t see God in the profane and the profound, you’re missing half the story. That is a great Truth. God is in the sadness and the laughter, in the bitter and the sweet. There is a divine purpose behind everything—and therefore a divine presence in everything."

The secret to life?

"This is the real secret of life: to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play."
- Alan Watts

Let your light shine

"As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others."

"The human brain has amazing abilities and only a minute amount of these has been tapped thus far. What the brain can conceive of, the body can most likely do, and when your brain opens the door to Universal Mind, the possibilities are almost endless." - Gaia

Conflict?

"If you don't meet resistance with resistance, it dissipates dramatically. It just softens. Try it! Next time somebody says to you, "I'm right, and you're wrong," say, "Pfftt, you're right. You are right. You're right." And mean it. In other words, don't mock them. Don't be sarcastic. "You're right." And then watch how, all of a sudden, their legs almost go right out from under them."

Condemn Adam and Eve?

For centuries people have been condemning Adam and Eve. They are said to have committed Original Sin. I tell you this: It was the Original Blessing. For without this event, the partaking of the knowledge of good and evil, you would not even know the two possibilities existed! Indeed, before the so-called Fall of Adam, these two possibilities did not exist. There was no "evil." Everyone and everything existed in a state of constant perfection. It was, literally, paradise. Yet you didn't know it was paradise -- could not experience it as perfection -- because you knew nothing else.

Shall you then condemn Adam and Eve, or thank them?

This is the time of change

"It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power."
- Alan Cohen

Longevity - Abe-Hicks

Q - How long can we live?

A - Well you are eternal beings but we sense that your question is about in your physical body?

Q- Yes, I mean everyone wants to be a little younger...?

A - Well it is optional to a certain degree. And really in fairness we have to say, if you are the creator of your own reality and you are able to conjure a desire to live five hundred years or more then this time-space-reality and this physical apparatus that you have has the ability to sustain that. In other words there really is nothing that you cannot be or do or have...It is possible for someone like you, at any stage of life, to discover who you really are and rid yourself little by little piece by piece of resistance and open to the pure, positive energy that flows through and live this life experience riding this continual wave of finding a new desire and allowing it to be fulfilled.

No limits

"There should be no limits, if you have the ability to identify it this time-space-reality has the ability to give it to you. And we want you to get over any feeling of limitedness or unworthiness that denies you that."

"You will find that accumulating years (aging) only makes you wiser and stronger—not the opposite. So grow “older” in age with grace and dignity, and maintain your physical prowess, agility, and strength. You will find that the more you do, the more you can always do. Don’t let age limit you or what people say limit you. For you are unlimited."
- Adama

Aging is created in the human mind

"Human beings were not meant to age or die. Even people who work in genetics understand that a person, in truth, is never older than seven years, since their whole body changes all its cells every seven years. Many, many doctors on aging will admit that they are baffled as to why people age at all since the body is never old. So then that takes it that we have to go to a level beyond the physical to find the answer to aging and death, to the belief."

Beautiful words from a Hopi elder

"At such a time, we must consider certain things.

Where are you living? What are you doing?
What are your relationships? Are they in order?
Where is your water? Know your garden.

It is time to speak your truth. Create your circle.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.

There is a river flowing now very fast.
So great and swift is it that many will be afraid.
They will try to hold on to the shore.
They will feel torn apart, and will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water.

See who is in there with you.
At this time in history, take nothing personally, least of all ourselves.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Everything done in a sacred way, and in celebration."

“The stream of thinking has enormous momentum that can easily drag you along with it. Every thought pretends it matters so much. It wants to draw your attention completely. Here is a new spiritual practice: don’t take your thoughts too seriously.”

Silence

"The unchangeable can only be realised in silence. Once realised, it will deeply affect the changeable, itself remaining unaffected."

-Nisargadatta Maharaj

"To go beyond the mind, you must be silent and quiet. Peace and silence, silence and peace - this is the way beyond. In peace and silence the skin of the 'I' dissolves and the inner and the outer become one. The real spiritual practice is effortless."

-Nisargadatta Maharaj

God's Truth

"Hear Me, everywhere. Whenever you have a question, simply know that I have answered it already. Then open your eyes to your world. My response could be in an article already published. In the sermon already written and about to be delivered. In the movie now being made. In the song just yesterday composed. In the words about to be said by a loved one. In the heart of a new friend about to be made.

My Truth is in the whisper of the wind, the babble of the brook, the crack of the thunder, the tap of the rain.

It is the feel of the earth, the fragrance of the lily, the warmth of the sun, the pull of the moon."

Moses, Jesus and You

Excerpt from Conversations with God book 2:

"Who parted the Red Sea?

NDW: God.

Indeed, but who called upon God to do that?

NDW: Moses.

Exactly. And who called upon Me to heal the sick, and raise the dead?

NDW: Jesus.

Yes. Now, do you think that what Moses and Jesus did, you cannot do?

NDW: But they didn't do it! They asked You to! That's a different thing.

Okay. We'll go with your construction for now. And do you think that you cannot ask Me these same miraculous things?

NDW: I suppose I could.

And would I grant them?

NDW: I don't know.

That's the difference between you and Moses! That's what separates you from Jesus!"

True wisdom

"It matters less what you may or may not have read, or heard, or been taught as to what is the correct way to proceed on the spiritual path, than what your own experience has shown you to be so."

You were born with wings

You were born with wings. Why prefer to crawl through life?
I drank that wine of which the soul is its vessel. Its ecstacy has stolen my intellect away. A light came and kindled a flame in the depth of my soul. A light so radiant that the sun orbits around it like a butterfly.

Use your mind?

"The mind is a superb instrument if used rightly. Used wrongly, however, it becomes very destructive. To put it more accurately, it is not so much that you use your mind wrongly you usually don't use it at all. It uses you."
